After seeing this tweet and finding out Metal Sonic, Mighty, and Ray were initially gonna be a team in Sonic Heroes, I was immediately for it. I’m not sure what they’re goal is or how they got together but that’s definitely something I’d like to touch on and find out! Maybe even see what adventures they might have, eh?

Well if this really did happen in sonic heroes then I kinda would have wanted the story of this team to be character development for metal sonic
He kinda always wants to prove himself better than sonic but maybe while with mighty and ray he slowly gets attached to them and relaxes maybe he might not be the real sonic but that doesn't mean he shouldn't try to be like him
And by that I mean as a hero with mighty and ray as his own tails and knuckles
